I need to know if there is a device that implement both
DatagramConnection and SerialConnection J2ME interfaces in order to allow an instrument to send continuously measured data relative to some field parameters via a standard serial port to a J2ME compliant mobile device, that must to process and redirect the information to a web-server via UDP sockets or eventually TCP sockets.

Is there a way to resolve this situation via a standard MIDP HttpConnection interface ???

Any suggest will be appreciated, thanks.
Ruben.

look at JavaPhone, I know that it implements comms for SMS and I believe it may do datagram as well. otherwise I am not sure. As far as a real device with these capabilities is concerned try
