Not that I am to experinced in syncML, but I have done a it of trawling through the web in the last 6 months. I found http://www.syncml.org and www.nokia.com/syncml very helpful. They are both leaders in the industry.
Hope it helps

I assume that you are talking SyncML in a Java implementation setting. Here are some interesting links,
MNCRS Java Synchronization Framework done by IBM: http://www.oadg.or.jp/activity/mncrs/
SmartSync project (Tik-76.115 Software Project course) at Helsinki University http://www.hut.fi/u/asaarila/syncml/
This company claimed that it has a Java SyncML implementation. http://www.nexthaus.com/
Hope this help,

You can find some J2ME/SyncML sample code in chapter 12 from "Wireless Programming with J2ME" book. Here is the link to that chapter: http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/Books/J2MEwireless/J2ME12.pdf
