Want advice on project(urgent)

Hello. I want to do a project before going for SCJP2.In which i want to cover all the contents specially Object Oriented,I/O threads, Util.Now pls. give me advice that which project should i do so that i will cover almost all the contents of SCJP2.

Dear Vikrama,
I believe developing a chat application is a nice option. But you will also require the know-how of sockets, which will be a bonus learning.

Thanks Kapil for giving me advice.As you are with us for a very short time period therefore i like to gain as much as i can.
OK...Now i have some questions regarding chat application.
1: Which contents of SCJP2 will i cover for chat application
2: Which topics other than SCJP2 i have to go for(& can i do that?)
3: How long will it take to complete because i am SE Comp. Engr. student & i have to submit my project before 21stOct.
