Hello all,
Does anybody know of a (free) sample J2ME app to download and try on the emulator (no device available)?
Also, does the emulator's performance match the device's performance?
Thanks!

The emulator more or less match the performance of its emulated device. They basically use the same ROM. As for the sample apps for J2ME you wanted, you might want to start browsing the other threads which gives links to a handful of examples.

Try Nokias site at http://forum.nokia.com. They have a good discussion forum, downloadable pdfs and you get some good examples with their dev kit.

actually I have usually found that the emulator is slower than the real device.
