I'd like to get a new phone that has the ability to program it using J2ME. Can anyone tell me which phones this can b done with? Also, when I played with J2ME before, it didn't have support for floating math. As I understand it Motorola has built some stuff on top of J2ME (like support for lightweight components), so does anyone know if you can use floats in your programs that you write for these Motorola phones?

Matt,
Have you tried the MathFP package for KVM?

"MathFP is implemented to provide developers the capability to do calculations involving fractions on java virtual machines with no support for floats or doubles. For example the KVM (K Virtual Machine) and the CLDC (Connceted Limited Device Configuration) do not support these primitive datatypes."
