Question about jtapi

I am new for Sun jtapi. I am going to build a small internet voice application so I can test for fun. Can you tell me what is the hardware I need to have so I can build a complete application? Thanks for the attention.

for jatapi ...... you'll be needing a modem , 2 phone , a soundcard , networ card , 2 machines ( for testing ) , use of voip .

Thank you for your reply. I'd like to know that if PSTN or PBX services which are paid service are needed when build a complete Computer Telephony application?
