anyone give me idea on how to program palm database? Any good tutorial or articles suggested?

You can't really program Palm databases in Java. Yes, the CLDC reference implementation exposes a Database class that lets you do some rudimentary database manipulation, but it's not complete and it's unsupported. The MIDP has the concept of record stores, which are similar to (and implemented as) Palm databases. To work with Palm databases you need to use a commercial Java implementation like IBM's J9 or Jbed's esmertec which exposes the Palm APIs for you. The best place to learn about those APIs is to look at a book (like mine) or to go to www.palmos.com and download the appropriate documentation.
