Dear all,
I've already posted this question, but haven't got any answer. It is very important for me. I'm using CLDC/MIDP for PalmOS, and it seems that 64kB is the maximum memory I can assign to an application. At the beginning I thought, that it is due to POSE, but it behaves the same way on real Palm . Maybe I've missed something, but I really cannot go through it. Is there any way to increase MIDlet's memory. Please help me.
Thanks.

the following are the characteristics of mid ( Mobile Information Device ) : -

128 kb of non - volatile memory for midp implementation
32 kb of volatile memory for runtime heap
8 kb of non - volatile memory for persistent data
This is as per midp profile ( JSR 37 ). I think you have memory extention slot in handsprings & palms. But , it is for persistent storage.
I think you can not change the heap size at present. I may be wrong also.
I hope this will be helpful.
your friendly bartender
Shailesh.
