yu feng's book is quite good. full of codes. Plus , he is the winner of the motorola contest.
Read the review of this book in bunkhouse section.
I feel the another good book is Wireless Java : Developing With Java 2 , Micro Edition By Jonathan Knudsen by Apress.
I hope this is useful.

Danish , I reviewed "Sams Teach Yourself Wireless Java with J2ME in 21 Days" and personally I though it was a very good if your want to start your J2ME journey. Michael Morrison explains the subject extremely well and in a very easy to follow manner.
I highly recommend the book if you are starting out with J2ME.
