I'm really very flattered by the welcome; thank you. Also I'm pretty psyched to be invited to help.
Just FYI, I did not ask to moderate Programmer Certification. There was (to me) an appearance of self-promotion to that, and I didn't want fans (not to mention authors!) of Khalid or Brogden et al to feel there was any hint of favoritism. I will still continue to help here where I can. Go ahead, stump the Certified, I dare ya!
I must now declare Java (Intermediate) and RMI/CORBA to be the most happenin' forums here!
Shyam - there will be other anagrams, my friend. You have been warned.

to become a ranch hand you need 21 more posts
30 posts are needed to get from greenhorn to ranch hand, this is achieved quite fast once you are involved in the ranch !

My favorite champagnes are distilled from barley rather than grapes , but I take your meaning. I'm a homebrewer and devoted to Guinness for celebrations, along with a variety of Speyside single-malt Scotches. But whatever virtual bubblies I can offer to please to my admiring public, I will happily offer.
