Hi, i'm really new in j2me and i'm having problems trying to preverify a MIDlet (compiling works fine). I get an error message: "Error preverifying class simpleMIDlet - Class loading error: Illegal constant pool index".
Plz, can smn tell me what's wrong?
My OS is winXP, and i'm usng jdk 1.4.0 beta 2

Hmmm..I think there are two possibilities...
1) J2SE version..If you have installed the 1.4beta, that may cause the problem. To correct this, remove the 1.4beta completely, and then try to install SDK 1.3.x.
2) You probably use a class that is written for the J2SE, not for MIDP..
Cheers;
