Hello,
I encounter a problem when I try to launch my midlet on an emulator (palm, phone).
(with Forte For Java or KtoolBar).
It's my error :
Unable to create MIDlet HelloMidlet
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: HelloMidlet
at com.sun.midp.midlet.Selector.commandAction(+47)
at javax.microedition.lcdui.Display$DisplayAccessor.commandAction(+152)
at com.sun.kvem.midp.lcdui.EmulEventHandler$EventLoop.run(+427)
I have generated all my files:
- HelloMidlet.class after compiling
- HelloMidlet.jar after preverifying my HelloMidlet.class
- HelloMidlet.jad the file I execute
thank you

Make sure that your Midlet is in the .jar and the value of Midlet-Name in .jad is the same name of your Midlet (including packages). Try to copy your .jad here so we can help you better.
Hope it helps,

Hello,
I know that when I used to make my jad files manually.. it was really tough. I think if you want to do this for real, download the WTK (WirelessToolKit) from Sun. It's free and does all that stuff for you.. and make sure things are all good.
hope that helps.
