Concerning J2ME - how does one begin?
For instance, learning Java in general, you simply download the JDK and start working.
With J2ME - I am a bit confused by differing environments, profiles etc, that are most likely caused by the miriad of devices that this covers.
What is the best path of learning?

Hi,
You can start by downloading Development Kit from Sun's site. (J2ME Wireless Toolkit) This'll give you a testing environment for your programs.
You'll be able to develop and test CLDC based and also MIDP based applications.
