Hi
Can anyone recommend a good J2ME book to get started out with. I am a reletively competent coder of servlets and JSP but have little experience with EJB stuff
Thanks

Y C,
JavaRanch has a naming policy which is strictly enforced. Please read the policy and change your display name if you wish to continue posting here. Thanks.

J2ME does not have servlets/JSP or EJB. It is complex in other ways. For books, have a look at a JavaWorld book review I recently published:
Java books hit the wire
In addition, the Kroll and Haustein book being promoted this week also looks pretty good.

I started to learn j2me by the book written by "Jonathan Knudsen"
As i think for starting it is a nice book, After that you can read the "Addison Wesley" book on j2me that is another good book but is not for beginners.

That one is good but is getting old now. Jonathan told me that he is working on a revision that is supposed to come out in a couple of months.
