Hi all,
I'm developing an application that will go connect with a server for query and update in a database in a Server.
What is more productive, utilize the Servlets for this task, or to developer a Socket Server for this.
Thanks all

Depends on what you meant by "productive". If you want to save development time and have a more reliable and maintainable system, use servlets. You can refer to my article in JavaWorld.
Of course, if you have specific requirements that is only available from custom Socket server, you will have to use it.
