can not configure application on real palm

Hi gurus;
Well i have made e-shop usingf j2ee and j2me.I installed application on the palm and connect the palm tomy pc via serial port.I can not run it gives error PPP error.When connectng to tomcat webserver.Please can any body tell why this error comes.Thanks

i think you need to explain a litle bit more about your environment and configurations you are using. But anyway, check this out....

Thanks.Well my application is just shopping cart which run on palm.I have run on emulator but can't run on palm.I have palmIII ex.The article u send is very help ful but i can find the Mocha PPP software.I am using win2000 server.can u please tell other softwares to work with it.

i guess you meant that you _can't_ find Mocha PPP... right? if thats the case, you can download it from http://www.mochasoft.dk/download.html#palm.
i tested it myself with windows 2000 and it worked fine for me. If you have any other question, feel free to ask.

Hi;
Thanks a lot.I have downloaded the moche software but the article u send me,in that article in the figure i see that when we go to prefences>Network the service specified over thier was "DIRECT TO NET" but in my palm devices their is no such service available.Only following services is available on my palm

Windows RAS
Which service i should use.If i have to use windows RAS then please if u can send snapshot how to configure windows RAS.I tried it but it dn't works.Will be thankful

Well if you don't have "Direct to Net" on your Palm, then you can simply create it by typing that in front of Service tab. it will add this new Service into list. 2ndly, it doesn't matter whether you use "Direct to Net" or "Windows RAS" or some one else, it works fine. Then leave user name and password empty. In Connection tab select "Direct Serial" or you can create your own Connection type but follow the guide lines given in that article, i sent.
