Hi..
We are going to develop a website with Wireless Frontend. We want users to browse the website via HandPhone.
This website will have basically a collection of animated gif file and text articles. We will also include user database that require login.
Now... I am new to the wireless world.. So, am confused with J2ME and WAP. Should I use WAP for this webiste or must I go for J2ME ?
What is the best solution to send and receive SMS from a web application ? Any tutorial or links is appreciated.
How about wjms ? Can anyone explain to me what is wjms ?
Are WAP going to be here and stay ? Your opinion please ?

hello, perhaps this link will be useful
http://wireless.java.sun.com/midp/articles/midpwap/
I dont think wap is going to disappear, almost all the new mobile phones support wap although not many have JVM (in Europe). Maybe there will be less application development using WML(there aren't many now either) anyway probably wap will be used more for OTA installation of midlets. Also check out www.reqwireless.com they have interesting browser for mobile.
