i'm trying to create a j2me MIDlet for my new motorola t720i.
it runs fine in the emulator.
it took me a while, but i THINK it's downloading to the phone OK, but after it says "dowloading" and then "installing", it says "application error".
what does this mean? i'm guessing that something top-level caught an exception. how can i see this exception? is there any way of debugging things that go wrong on the phone?
thanks,

That means the phone does not take your JAD descriptor. Make sure that your JAR size is right. Also, Motorola devices seem to require three digit version numbers (such as 1.0.0) while the emulator is fine with two digits (such as 1.0)
