I've gotten 3 emails today regarding the same javaranch book promo.
I'd just as soon remove myself from this list but I don't
see the option! Argghghgh!!
Feel free to take me off!
Thanks,
Drew

We had a problem with our emailer today. 40 people got the message three times. You were lucky enough to be in that group.
If you want to be removed from our mailing list then simply click here:
http://www.coderanch.com/forums/user/edit
and chancge your option.

"May JavaRanch send you occasional email notices such as our newletter and contest announcements?"
This is already set to "No" in my user profile.
I did this a few months ago, yet I still receive these messages.
Something is broken, IMO.
BTW, I like the newsletter, just not the contest annoucements.
I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too.
Drew
p.s. newletter, should of course, be newsletter in my profile.

Drew - there was an old duplicate account of yours with the same e-mail address, with "May JavaRanch send..." set to yes. I deleted it. You should see no more mailings now; let us know if that's not the case.
If you go into journal withdrawal, it's also available on the web here. Enjoy.

OK, I'm glad you figured that out.
Thanks Jim!
