I am planning to write a j2me game that could show a 3d character like the one in Beach Volleyball. I don't need the space for the character to move around but the abilitiy to move his/her body parts. I guess i only need some 3d modelling library. Am i right? Could anyone could help me to get the info i need, plzzzzzz.......

3D is not yet available on J2ME phones. But watch for the J2ME 3D API (JSR 184). It is in public review now. So, if you have any comments, make sure to let the team know! I think it is really promising.

There are some vector graphics libraries available for J2ME. For example, J3DME (still in alpha) and Bearlib.
I wrote a small 3D thingie back in late 2001 for MIDP 1.0 and looked for existing 3D libraries. Back then I decided to forget the fancy libs and write my own routines including fixed-point floats (they basically sucked but were enough for my personal purposes). Today, I'd probably use some existing libraries, at the very least for floating point arithmetics.
