Hi Folks,

I am developing game for Nokia series 60. I am facing one problem that if someone abruptly close the application rather going through the Game's exit button. then thread's are still alive. My main class implements Runnable Interface and i am using callserially() method. Now what i want that if user open up the same game again it should first show Menu with Countinue option selected. How can i do this pls tell me...I am stuck up here only

Thanx
wating for reply.

should be the same way you handle threads when a call comes in interrupting the game..in fact if user closes phone they generate the same condition as an incomming call in that pauseApp in midlet is not called..
bascially you are building off isVisible on the displayable object..
several Nokia tutorials have directions on how to do this for incoming calls.. you will be using the same basic technique for when phone closess..
treat the close phone as interrupting the game dn save game state with a continue or exit screen coming up when phone is opened back up..
