hi all,
In my ongoing project, we created a bunch of ui components to "lightweight" the standard midp api so that the code size is decreased. But by doing this, we sacrificed portiblity so we have to port our application to specific devices. It is really a frastrated work. it looks like there is a tradeoff when it comes to situation where on one hand we have to minimize code bytes for a device to hold it and on the other side, to maintain the portability of your code.I wonder if you are doing the same thing and encountering the same problem.
thank you very much
