Hi,
I have a very basic question... I have created 2 images.. one a small ball and another a small bar....
When I clicki on FIRE..... the ball starts moving randomly....
Now the BAR can be controlled by left and right arrows....
The problem is...
The movement of the ball jerks... everytime I try to move the BAR... What I am trying to say is that... When the BAR is moved.. the BALL stops for that movement.. which means that the 2 motions are not independent...
Hope I could make you understand...
Can anyone help....
Regards,
Arnab

Hi Arnab -
On what kind of device are you trying to make this happen?

This is the piece of code....

bulletFiring() causes the BAR to move continously without any user control.
bulletFiring() is called when the RIGHT key is pressed.
The ball can be controlled using the arrow keys.
Every time the keys are pressed, the smooth motion of the BAR is disturbed.

So what's wrong ?

Hi,
I thought that I should restate my problem.....
How can I make 2 movements independent...... One of the image moving without any control.... The other one controlled by User without causing any interference to the first image...
Any suggestions ?
Regards,
Arnab

Can anyone help please ?
As mentioned in my earlier posting...
bulletFiring() causes the BAR to move without any USER control...
The BALL moves using the ARROW keys....
When I am trying to move the BALL... the BAR stops moving for that instance only...
I guess I am having problem with some basics...
Any suggestions please ?....

Arnab
