Hi everyone,
I am new to J2ME and I know nothing about mobile applications. But i am more than interested to work on the technology and take the SCMAD Beta exam.
Can anyone answer the following:
1. How to get started working on J2ME ??!??
2. What are the resources i should read for getting familiar with the J2ME technology ??!??
3. What is the sequence in which i should read the resources in Step 2 ??!??
4. Is there any free tutorial available on the web which can be used as the starting point ??!??
5. Are there any free ebooks available on the internet that can be used as the starting point ??!??
I have read Kathy Sierra's and Michael Yuan's messages in the recent past and i am aware of the objectives of SCMAD exam and the relevant JSRs. But before reading those JSRs i need to know something about the technology as well as how to use the J2ME platform.
I will appreciate if some members in this forum can take the pain of helping me out by answering my questions
thanks & regards

Some basic background information is available from the SUN web site:
http://developers.sun.com/techtopics/mobility/overview.html
You can start from there.
