I don't know if this problem exists with MIDP, but with Personal Java I was only able to see folders in the "My Documents" folder. I was unable to save files anywhere else. Is there a way to get beyond this?

I use IBM WebSphere Micro Environment (formerly J9) and it provides access to all directories including the storage flash card. I also used Insginia's runtime before -- did not have problem with the file system either.

Mr.Yuan,
I'm using Borland JBuilder Mobile Development, since I am familiar with JBuilder for other Java application development as well... Since u r using IBM WebSphere Micro Environment, I just would like to know the advantages of that and mine...
Could u please compare each of the strength and weakness between them? Like in normal development, Borland's got more features than IBM's... but I heard that refactoring is better in WebSphere Studio than in JBuilder... I've never used IBM's IDE...
Thanks....

Actually, I use IntelliJ IDEA and Ant. For a comparison review of J2ME IDEs, check our my articles:
