This week's book giveaway is in the Agile and Other Processes forum. We're giving away four copies of The Little Book of Impediments (e-book only) and have Tom Perry on-line! See this thread for details.
Hola a todos, I was wondering about your experiences with "REAL LIFE" J2me networked midlets. In my experience, it is messy, and I was thinking if some of you could give me some hints about improving my apps in this regard. I am using something like networked middlet example from the Nokia forum, where a thread is forked off to deal with network connections. This however gives problems with some phones, it just works fine until you go to your customer for a demo of course.. It seems that the app works better when it comes to networking in a 3510i, but really looks ugly. 3650 is considered a cool mobile that has it all, and always gives a good impression in presentations, however when I demonstrated my app to the customer, it just goes Nanas sometimes,.. and have to go back quickly and try again, and with a big smile this time, as if nothing wrong happened. ANy help will be appreciated!
