I'm not sure if u can help me with this one:
I have this program in J2ME (just a test) and I want to make something similar in VB .NET

I have a server listening at port 1234

I made the following in VB .NET
(in this case a server is listening at port 4444):

How come an exception is thrown in the VB .NET application and not in the J2ME app?
The exception is "cannot acces a disposed object
Don't I do just the same in the 2 programs?

Just a guess. But maybe in .net when you issue the close command, it is closed such that you get an error when you try the other connect. It is like you have to open then connect. then when you close you are done and if you want to use it again you have to re-"open" the object. Kind of like the Database Connection object of ADODC.
My guess.
