Does anyone know if there are any other emulators that can test MMAPI image capture other than the Nokia Series 60 emulator that comes with WTK2.1?
If there aren't any others, has anyone heard of any new ones that are due out in the near future?
Thanks,
Greg

Hello,
you can also use the Motorola SDK V500 emulator for image capture at motocoder.com

Phoum,
I was told that the V500 phone does not support MMAPI. Is this not the case? Are you referring to the web-based emulator or the emulator that comes with the downloadable SDK?

Hi Greg,
I refer to the emulator provided by the SDK. I test some sample code "capture://video" and it works fine on the emulator. Even the supports.video.capture property returns true. So I am not sure but I think the device support it.

Phoum,
You were 100% correct. The V300/V500/V600 emulator series in the new SDK supports MMAPI image capture. I wonder if anyone can confirm that the camera actually supports this functionality. Earlier posts explicitly stated that these phones don't include MMAPI video/image capture.
Thanks again!
Greg
