Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a limit to the size of a String array in MIDP?
I have a midlet with a thread which pulls in data from various files and populates 2 String Arrays, the jar is up and running perfectly on the Siemens S55 except it is unable to process any file over 3.5k.
I've checked the memory profile and theres no issue as the device has a heap size of 300k.
I think there may be a limit to the size of the Array I'm not sure..
Can anyone help me with this one?
thanks,
Peter.

I had an array of byte of size 40 kB, and I think that 3,5 kB can't be problem.
