Hi,
I have some problems when I try to run an application on the intermec 700 c.
I follow the steps explained in the help section but when I try to run my application I get following error: java.lang.SecurityException: Package name not allowed - 'java.awt.event'
Does somebody know what could be the reason for that?
Thanks

Does the intermic 700c support AWT? Most devices I've worked with do not support AWT at all. Why its a security exception may be because you are trying to import an unsupported api. Are you using awt events such as MouseListener, ActionListener, etc? Even if the device supports AWT, you may need to make sure that those supported packages have been properly compiled and preverified by the supplying vendor before the device will accept them. I do not believe any j2me device will accept straight-from-box j2se packages.
