displaying European date style

Is it possible to manipulate the way a DateField appears on a handset? By default it comes up in US format (i.e. MM/DD/YY). I would like to change it to UK format so it appears DD/MM/YY.

Well you can always call toString and then use String manipulation to move the information around.

I thought the DataField takes a TimeZone class, and that where the device is running is the TimeZone that it uses.

yeah I agree with Mark... just need to call the getTimeZone("GMT")

UK is in GMT time zone...
