We have a dedicated forum for J2ME related questions. I'm moving this thread over there.

Hi,

Quick google search reveals the first link as,
http://java.sun.com/j2me/

I guess that should be enough starting point.

Once you understand CDC, CLDC and some other terminology you can download Wireless Development Tool Kit (link under the "Development Tools" on the above url and go from there.

For problems we are here

Thanks
Maulin

Hi,

if you know Java its fairly easy to code J2ME as well. Just get yourself a good IDE (NetBeans has a good J2ME integration, Eclipse is very powerful), the Wireless Toolkit and maybe a couple of vendor specific simulators and you are ready to start.

I recommend an Ant based build-tool like J2ME Polish (www.j2mepolish.org) or Antenna, since this is the most flexible and powerful way to build J2ME applications in the long run.

And best is to get a good J2ME book for starters, too.

Best regards,
Robert

I see you diligently advertise your polish, but nothing else. Please STOP doing this on all the threads. They got us really really tired on your advertisement.

If polish is a real good product, people will discover it soon.

Thanks and good luck!
