Hi all,

I have a J2ME application and I want to copyright it. How can I do it? Basically, I want my application just to be used by people. Not modified, nor extended except by myself.

Or put it in another way, how can I generate revenue out of it?

Thanks

How are you distributing your application? If it can be downloaded from the web, just add an "accept license" screen and appropriate copyright statements before letting people access the JAD file. The license then prevents anyone from legally modifying or extending your work (if that's what you've written into the license) and the copyright stuff on your website declares that you own the copyright for your application.

By incorporating credit card payment to your website (using PayPal, for example).
