Hello All,
I'm new to J2ME (but with 4-5 years Java programming) and was wondering where to start? More specifically, which books/articles/tutorials should I look at to get a grasp of current J2ME programming? Is there a book/tutorial/article that would show me how to develop a simple Midlet and make it available OTA for download and evaluation purposes?
Is it possible to write Midlets that can be deployed to any make and model of handset/PDA?
Are there any statistics that would show me what the current ownership of mobiles/PDAs is amongst different age groups?

Thanks in advance

Angus

WOW, someone need to write a book to answer all your questions!

Why don't you search and get your own answers.

u can start by going through the articles on http://developers.sun.com/techtopics/mobility/ . I particularly like Core J2me book it gives lots of examples but it doesnt cover Midp2.Wireless J2me (Wireless Java: Developing with J2ME, Second Edition) and Wireless J2ME Platform Programmingtwo other good books. And for advance topics Take a look at www.enterprisej2me.com

What a show! What atmosphere! What fun! What a tiny ad!
