Hi, I have done some swing application in my desktop Windows XP system. It has lots of high level swing component, such as JTree, JTable, JSplitPane. Now I want to port to cell phone.

I am heard, there has some products which can port my swing application to cell phone without any change, because in the cell phone has small JVM exactly same as JVM in the desktop system. That means, we don't need to limit our application in J2ME-swing package.

you can recommend some good products like this for me? any web links are welcome.

Thanks

No, that isn't true. The packages for J2ME is a small subset of J2SE, and you will not find any Swing in J2ME. J2ME has the javax.microedition.lcdui classes for Screens and Canvasas. Ther are a limited amout of object that you can use. So a program that could change your Swing code into J2ME display code wouldn't work to well.

Look for Jonathan Knudsen's J2ME book, you will find it an easy read, and it will explain how to develop J2ME applications.

Good Luck
