hi all..

some guidance needed.

ok..for a start..i am doing a project and i am assigned to a certain task.i am to able user to type the text they want choosing the type of font and also the prefered color and also enable user to move the text around to put the text at the specific place the user wants to.

b4 this,there will be an image ready.so, i am to overlap this text OVER the image. so, is there anyone out there who noes how to do this? as in the logic of the whole thing?

In order to do this you will need to use the low level api to draw your images and text through code. You cannot use the high level api because it will place the items based on the devices implementation.

You can place as many drawings on top of each other as you want with the low level api. Use the Canvas and Graphics class. Place the image in first, then use the drawString method to draw the text using a text anchor point.

Hope that helps without actually writing your code for you
