Hi there,

I was wondering if it is possible for a mobile device to 'discover' another mobile device and start an ad hoc connection with it? (Either 802.11b or bluetooth)

Is this possible with J2ME?

Thank you.

I am using J2ME Wireless Toolkit 2.2 Beta..
This version supports Bluetooth/OBEX in J2ME(JSR 82).
You just need to choose this addtional API in configuration.
This package is made by JCP.
You can download API document and JSR-82 specification from http://jcp.org/aboutJava/communityprocess/final/jsr082/
