Howdy all,

Okay, here goes. I am very new to J2ME and Java's Bluetooth API. I need to rapidly build a prototype application that can simulate the following:

A J2ME application that sends data (should be entirely numbers at the moment) to a J2SE application. This all needs to be done on a BT (Bluetooth) simulator for now; though the intention will involve the use of computer security in the form of encryption techniques etc.

I have had a look at a few BT simulators, they are only available to buy (I am a poor university student). My box is using XP pro and naturally the simulator needs to work on it.

Any other useful suggestions (in addition to the above as well) will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards to you all,

Vipul
