I have a Nokia Series 60 MIDlet that I need to sign. I worked with thawte but they told me that theirs will not work. I contacted Verisign and they told me that they don't support midlet signing... What is the process for signing with Verisign and what series 60 phones does it support and can you give me an intelligent contact at verisign in the know?

PS: I'll take whatever CA i can get please help!

Thanks,
Erica

You just need a digital certificate from them and use the Nokia Developer's Suite to sign your MIDlets.

Is it possible to use a "private CA" certificate for signing a midlet? I appreciate that this might present issues of trust for commercial use but I would like to do this for educational reasons.
