Hello,

Does anyone know where I can can find what percentage of people in the UK have a java-enabled mobile phone?

I have been searching for days, but cannot find anything...

Thanks in advance,
James

I'd say it is probably large enough for anything you might think of. Usually Europe and Asia are way ahead in the advanced Mobile Phone area. US is far behind.

Cheers Mark. I need some actual figures though.

Have since found out from the mda (mobile data association) that there are 15 million MMS handsets in use in the UK.

And where a phone has MMS it also seems to be java-enabled (at least, this is the case for Nokia phones).

So the answer seems to be at least 15 million. But if anyone has any other info sources, please post here.
