Hi All,
I'd like to perform an MD5 has on a String before sending it to a server. I've been trying to use the MD5 and/or MessageDigest class in the com.sun.ksecurity package, but whenever I run I get a NoClassDefFound exception. Everyting else that I'm using in the midpapi10.jar file is found no problem. Is this even possible? Is there another way to perform this hash?

Right now, I've got my own MD5 class that I ripped off of a javascript site. It's working well, but it takes up about 13k and is balooning my app a bit.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank,
Pete

Someone else may be able to tell you why those classes are the jar file (probably used by the compiler or possibly at runtime), but they're not in the MIDP API (none of the com.* packages are).

You are able to use all of the packages listed in the API.
