Hi i downloaded the project code from sun's site for the midp terminal emulation part 1.

http://developers.sun.com/techtopics/mobility/midp/articles/termemulator1/

i compiled the code to get an error with the streamconnection. I get nine errors all involved with the stream connection.

TelnetConnection.java [44:1] cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class StreamConnection
location: package io
import javax.microedition.io.StreamConnection;
^
This is the first error. I noticed that the import statement above gives an error. What am i missing?

Are you using the Wireless toolkit or a seperate IDE. It appears that the jar file is not in your classpath.

Hmm, not familiar with that product. But I would assume that the install would automatically include those types of Jars. Sorry I couldn't be of much more help.
