can I read data from a USB port with j2me??

I need that my MIDdlet installed on a device connected to my Pc by USB port read data sended by a server application.

can I read the data using the USB port??
if is possible, how can I do it??

As far as I know Nokia phones do not support any type of cable connections - neither serial (RS232) neither USB. If you are using a Nokia phone better use infrared or bluetooth, whatever is available on the phone.
Most Motorola phones support serial cable connections; I don't know whether any support USB.
