Sprint Phone/Emulator - connection error

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Has anyone used the sprint A700 emulator and phone? I tried with the emulator first and I get a socket error...

javax.microedition.io.ConnectionNotFoundException: The requested protocol does not exist serversocket://:8866

I'm not familiar with sockets or network topics to understand what exactly is wrong in order to rectify it. Can anyone please help me with this? Do I need to set some variable to detect this protocol?

Sorry for this dumb Q, but I need to know what this error means..

Thanks in advance
Katie

I believe you need to go on sprint's developer forums..

Sprint is one of the Mobile Operators that limits certain network stuff.. they may have special way tis done in fact code wise..

I am not familiar enough with Sprint emulators to tell whether the socket part of api is available..but I imagine that note might be on the dev ofurms at sprints dev site..
