That's a simple example of the setRequestProperty method to set an HTTP header called "phone-number" to the value "555-1212". Now when you actually open a stream on that connection your server will see "phone-number: 555-1212" in the HTTP headers for that request.

I'm guessing that's not what you were actually asking.

Most phones do not automatically set a parameter like phone-number with the actual phone number of the device. Some do, but most don't. You'll have to write your application to set the number manually.

Most phone don't provide a J2ME method for determining the phone number of the actual device they are running on. Some do, but most don't. You'll have to prompt the user to manually enter the phone number.

This person talking to you is from UK and let me remind you that it is the prime laguage in our country
My only request to you non English people was to write proper English and it is imperative from all other posts that you have placed that you may be feeling black and whitw writing english
