create slide show in MIDlet

hi everyone , i'm planning to create a slide show application which display pictures when a button is clicked. Do I have to use thread for this ? Anyone has experienced this can give me example how to create slide show in java? :roll:

No you don't need threads.

You need to look into using a "canvas" in MIDP. You can detect button presses and display PNG files packaged as resources in your JAR.

What you are describing should be a very simple application to write. Create a canvas, load a PNG, display it, wait for a keypress, repeat.
