J2ME Polish Conflict issues

I'm currently using J2ME Polish (latest version as of April 2005), and constructed my main screen using an Implicit List. When an item is clicked on the list, a new form should show up. However I am getting this error out of nowhere when I try forms and even other choicegroups (exclusive).

1113080520125 - de.enough.polish.ui.Screen
line 1341
Screen: unable to process command [Open]: java.lang.NullPointerException.

The nullpointer refers to a line in the Screen class in the core of J2ME. I truly believe that there is a command listnener conflict, and I have no idea what causes it or how to get around it. Right now I am trying to implement a wizard pattern so I will need the capability of ChoiceGroups.

Any solutions?

Also, does anyone know how to use static styles within/for items that extend a Form or List?

Thanks,
~>>Karan Khanna.
