What's the best book to learn the J2ME environment? Which covers MIDP 2.0?

Thanks!

I always say the best J2ME book out there is "Wireless Java" from Apress publishing written by Jonathan Knudsen.

I just bought this one: Enterprise J2ME.

URL: http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0131405306/ref=sib_dp_pt/102-8356967-6644143#reader-link

I wonder if anyone else has read this...

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to check it out.

Hi,
I have that book. It is a good book, where you will get to know a lot about the industrial level applications. I personally feel it is a book for the programmers who have a knowledge in J2ME. I am happy that I bought the book.

Enterprise J2ME is a great book, however it appears that you want to first learn J2ME, that is why I suggest Jonathan's book.

Enterprise J2ME is a higher level book.

The book that I mostly learned from, and that I keep referring back to, is John Muchow's "Core J2ME Technology & MIDP", which is published by Sun.

It does not cover MIDP 2.0, however. But that's no biggie for me, since I like to program to the "lowest common denominator" anyway. If you must have 2.0 coverage, the Knudsen book is a good way to go. I have it also.
