Sorry about not having any code snippets, but basically you will have to convert the image into a byte array and pass that through the connection.

Yes but could you use this procedure to send many pics at regular intervals using bluetooth. That is I want to send 5 images (each 2KB) in one second so that it seems that as if a movie clip is being played at the mobile side.

I guess that nothing is stopping you to try to implement it and gather some empirical evidence of bandwidth and computer time needed to perform the task.

I hope you know that you should use "Bluetooth Serial Port" for your needs?

I personally think that you'll be able to send 10KB/sec over Bluetooth, but I'm not that sure about the time needed to compute each of 5 images. In other words, it is pretty much possible that you'll have a framerate below 5fps if you're pulling images from camera for instance.

Bluetooth serial connections run over RFCOMM. Even if you use a BT MIDP2.0 CommConnection it'll probably run over the top of an RFCOMM connection so you might as well set it up yourself.

You may be able to use a JSR082 BT OBEX connection - I'd have a look at the spec for that first. It's designed to do what you want it to.
