We have two ways (?) to talk to server in J2ME , one is HttpConnection, another is web service . Which one is better ? how much cost the web service have to pay , compared to HttpConnection ?

The J2ME has JNDI support ? I mean, it can look up the remote EJB bean directly ?

Thanks

J2ME does not have JNDI, usually you will have a Servlet that the Midlet can contact. This Servlet is usually the "Web Service". As far as Web Services with WSDL, you would need a third party product to handle them, maining in the J2ME spec there is no Web Services as they are.
